Flyers Training Camp starts September 13. Mark Chris Pronger “Present and Accounted For”.
The future Hall of Fame defenseman and prized Flyers off-season acquisition broke in his new digs in the Philadelphia area this past weekend, moving in both he and his family. Pronger spent the weekend getting to know the Philadelphia area, and even found himself in attendance alongside new Flyer teammates Riley Cote and Jeff Carter at an event most Flyers fans would likely find appealing: “UFC 101: Declaration” at the Wachovia Center on Saturday night.
Pronger, who is notorious for his rigorous off-season workout regiment, has always been one of the first to arrive in the area for Training Camp. Back in July, when Pronger was introduced as the newest member of the Philadelphia Flyers, he claimed he was “feeling as good” as he ever has coming into a season. With the burly defenseman in the area for good, Flyers fans can only hope that the acqusition will play up to it’s full billing.
