However, a lot of things can change during the last two months of the season, and the Braves starting pitching with three top-flight starters (Lowe, Jurrjens and Vasquez) provides them with the ammunition to make a late run at the postseason.

Even with Lee the Phil’s still have the Braves (who have won 3 series in a row, 2 of them being 4 game series) to deal with esp. when they have Hudson and infante coming back just as good as a trade.

Btw I would go ahead and let go of any idea of getting anything from the Bluejays. The Indians have already proved they are willing to deal an ace (C.C.) and with the Phil’s willing to give up their future for one or two rings there is every reason to believe that this trade will go through. Dont count on the a trade with Baltimore either if the Lee trade goes through.
